I focus on the fundamentals of good vocal technique to help you achieve your goals for improved tone and overall vocal quality. Though I am primarily a professional opera singer, I love to teach singing too!
I have two degrees in vocal performance, where I studied many facets of classical/operatic singing, including musical interpretation, diction, and acting. I also studied vocal pedagogy while in school, and this is where I discovered my passion for teaching singing to others.
A typical lesson with me starts with a series of warm-ups, followed by more specific vocal technique exercises, and then we would apply these concepts to a song or piece of music.
I am best suited as a teacher for a student who is already at an intermediate or advanced level, or a student that is new to singing, but has prior experience on another instrument.
