Have taught mathematics in both high school (to middle school students) and college (to peers, as a teaching assistant). Worked in consulting and just graduated from an MBA so have developed strong oral communication skills to explain difficult concepts to students.

I tend to lead with questions and help my students arrive to the right answer on their own, and take me through their thinking.
For example, I'd rather my student walk me through their thinking, be wrong, and work together to understand where their assumptions went wrong.
That being said, I take pride in adapting my lessons plans as neessary!
