About Clay
My teaching methodology is designed to inspire and engage students at every level. I focus on motivating my students by setting achievable goals and celebrating milestones along the way. Using real-life examples and case studies, I connect piano lessons to real-world music, helping students understand the practical applications of what they learn. I value integrity and accountability, ensuring a respectful, honest, and responsible learning environment where students feel supported in their progress. Creativity is at the heart of my approach, encouraging students to explore their musical expression, whether it’s through improvisation, composition, or interpreting pieces in their own unique way. In addition to piano, I offer guidance in relevant subjects such as music theory and composition, helping students become well-rounded musicians. My goal is to nurture each student's growth and passion for music while maintaining a structured and enjoyable learning experience.
