About Jim
Having worked in schools and in outreach through university I have gained a great deal of understanding about different learning styles and teaching techniques. I have also amassed quite a large volume of material through my time in schools, meaning I am never short of another workbook!

I am a Master's student at the University of Glasgow, with an honours degree in Physics with Astrophysics and a PGCE in Secondary Education. Lessons can be structured to fit the need of the individual student, however, I do believe that practice is most important.I tend to make use of example problems, working through them together to illustrate the point clearly and then allowing for individual work on similar examples.
I have a wealth of materials to use in lessons and can easily gear the content of the lesson around what the student needs to work on.
