My teaching methodology focuses on building a solid foundation in slide guitar techniques from the ground up. In each 1-hour lesson, we'll cover essential skills like mastering string blocking to avoid unwanted noise, controlling the slide so you sound "In Tune" , setting up your guitar for slide playing, and choosing the right slide for your style and hand size.
With over 20 years of experience and a degree in contemporary music specializing in slide guitar and open tunings, I've taught over 1,000 students globally through my online training courses. My lessons are suitable for beginners just starting their slide guitar journey, as well as advanced players looking to refine their skills.
Whether you want to learn the styles of slide guitar greats like Derek Trucks and Ry Cooder or explore your own musical expression, I'll provide a structured yet personalised approach.
