About Adan
I'm a passionate teacher with 10 years of experience teaching robotics, math, physics, computer science, and programming.
I have taught everything from high school robotics teams to graduate-level control systems courses, and I even ran a tutoring service for engineers at Queen's University.
I have a master's degree in robotics engineering from the University of Toronto, where I taught 14 undergraduate and graduate level courses in mathematics, computer science, and electrical/computer engineering. I have also taught high school students as the head programming mentor for a FIRST robotics team.
To me, tutoring is about helping you feel confident in yourself and your skills. The tutor-student connection is extremely important for this, so if you are studying anything in the areas of mathematics, physics, programming, computer science, or engineering, then please get in touch with me. My lessons are for anyone in grade 11 or higher. I'm happy to meet in-person in Toronto or do virtual sessions, whatever makes you most comfortable.
I am a kind, non-judgemental, and empathetic tutor. We will work together to break down the problems you're trying to solve, and we'll have fun doing it. I'll help you build confidence in your knowledge and skills with lots of examples and lots of advice. There is no such thing as a "stupid question" in my classes - no matter what your skill level is when we start, I guarantee that together we will help you succeed at whatever you want to learn.
