About Tanvi
I am a math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy. I enjoy showing students how interactive tools like GeoGebra and Desmos can make math more engaging. Geometry and trigonometry come alive when students can manipulate shapes and functions themselves. I have a strong passion for teaching spatial reasoning and encouraging students to think visually. Proof-writing is another area I emphasize, since it strengthens logic and precision. I also integrate real-world geometric modeling so students can see practical uses of what they learn. My teaching is centered on making abstract concepts feel clear and approachable. I am skilled at breaking down difficult ideas into visual steps. I teach mathematics with a reflective and gentle approach. My focus areas include abstract algebra, number theory, proofs, and other higher-level topics. These subjects often feel challenging, but I show students how to break them down into clear steps. I emphasize understanding ideas at their core rather than rushing to memorize formulas. My method gives students space to pause, reflect, and connect ideas. I find that this helps them uncover their own learning styles.
