My Teaching Approach for Power BI and Excel (PowerQuery & DAX)
I believe in a hands-on, real-world approach to teaching. Instead of only focusing on theory, I walk students through practical examples, working with real datasets just like we do in a professional bank or corporate environment. I break down complex topics like PowerQuery transformations, DAX calculations, and Power BI dashboards into simple, easy-to-grasp steps.
A typical lesson plan starts with a quick theory intro (10–15 mins), followed by a live demo on actual datasets (30 mins), and finishes with a small project or assignment to practice (15–20 mins). Each session builds on the previous one to ensure clear progression and mastery.
What sets me apart is my 10+ years of industry experience working with massive datasets (millions of rows). I bring real-life scenarios, automation tricks, error handling tips, and optimization techniques that you will not find in textbooks or generic courses.
My lessons are perfect for:
University and college students studying Business, Data Analytics, or Information Systems
Professionals who want to automate their reporting work
Beginners to intermediate users looking to master Power BI and Excel automation for career growth
Small business owners who want to manage and visualize their data better
Whether you're a complete beginner or someone who wants to level up your data skills, my classes are designed to boost your confidence and make you job-ready
