About Ilya
I am a Senior Business Analyst at a multinational company with over 7 years of daily, hands-on experience building Power BI solutions.
I specialize in bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world application. I don't just teach textbook concepts; I know exactly how to clean messy data, structure a perfect Star Schema, and write efficient DAX code. Whether you need to pass a complex university exam, complete your final project, or prepare for your first data job interview, I will guide you using modern industry best practices.

Power BI can feel overwhelming, especially when you hit a wall with DAX formulas or data modeling. My teaching style is 100% practical, patient, and tailored to your specific needs.
How I can help you:
- University Support: Step-by-step guidance for your assignments, capstone projects, or exam preparation.
- DAX Demystified: I will teach you the logic behind the formulas (Filter Context, Row Context, CALCULATE) so you stop guessing and start understanding.
- Data Modeling: We will master the Star Schema, fact vs. dimension tables, and relationships.
- Power Query (ETL): Learn how to clean and transform messy data before it even hits your dashboard.
- Real-World Application: I teach you the "best practices" that professors and modern companies look for.
My Methodology:
Diagnosis: Tell me your current roadblock or send me your university syllabus/assignment prompt.
Action: We will share screens and work through the problem together. I won't just "do it for you"; I will guide you so you understand the why behind every click.
Review: I provide clear, easy-to-understand explanations for complex technical concepts.
