About Vela
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, guiding students through ABRSM, Rockschool, and university-level piano exams. I hold a Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA), which reflects my strong technical foundation and musical understanding. I am passionate about helping each student unlock their creative and technical potential. Every learner is unique, so I tailor my lessons to their goals, whether they aim to perform, pass exams, or simply enjoy playing. I focus on building solid technique, musicality, and confidence through structured exercises and engaging repertoire. My teaching approach combines practical skill-building with creative exploration. I encourage students to experiment with expression and interpretation while developing precise technique. Lessons are interactive, enjoyable, and designed to inspire steady progress. Seeing my students grow, achieve milestones, and develop a lasting love for music is what motivates me most. I focus on helping students excel in their musical journey, whether they are exploring piano as a hobby or aiming to play contemporary pop styles. I emphasize creativity, encouraging students to experiment with improvisation and expression.
