About Haley
Haley earned an Associate of Arts in Music from Texarkana College, a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Henderson State University, and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University. She received the highest honors from each institution.
She has taught voice, piano, choir, music appreciation and music theory at University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana, Southern Arkansas University, Messenger College, Texarkana First Baptist School of Worship Arts, and independently for 15 years. She serves as Associate Director of Music for Williams Memorial United Methodist in Texarkana, Texas and as a guest musician for many kinds of events and other churches.

Haley is an ideal tutor for singers who want to level-up their music reading skills, college students needing extra help with theory, or songwriters who want to write down their music. One of her favorite things to do is help people learn how to read, analyze, or transcribe music.
Each of her tutoring sessions begins with short assessments to measure the student’s progress. She uses the student’s grade on these assessments to calculate grade-based pricing. She desires to make quality music education affordable for anyone who practices consistently. After the assessments, she reviews weak concepts or teaches new ones. She concludes by assigning practice work and assessments for the following session.

Perfect! Haley is an outstanding vocal coach! My 13-year-old son had fantastic session with her—he was a bit nervous at the start, but her warm, encouraging approach quickly put him at ease. She focused on his strengths, gave clear and practical tips on breath support, pitch, and expression that he could apply right away, and made the whole lesson fun. By the end, he was smiling and excited for more. She’s patient, skilled, and wonderful at building confidence in young singers—highly recommend!
