About Eleanor
Buenos Aires is where my ear for rhythm first developed. You might think playing the piano is only about moving fingers quickly across keys. My career spans 13 years of teaching performance-focused students and absolute beginners in the US. The transition from classical repertoire to chord voicing often requires a shift in mindset.
I teach posture, hand position, and the nuance of dynamics for students ranging from teenagers to middle-aged professionals. My background in jazz influences how I explain music theory and sight playing to those with different technical goals. I enjoy watching a student find their specific sound and develop hand independence over time.

Making a song sound effortless requires meticulous attention to rhythm and timing. I begin by assessing your current technique through scales and arpeggios to ensure a solid physical foundation. My lessons are structured to help you sight transpose and understand the mechanics behind the music you love.
Having taught 224 students, I know how to navigate the challenges of different learning speeds while maintaining a clear trajectory for your progress. This approach relies on the rigorous training from my Master of Music degree at the University of Miami Frost.
I balance technical exercises with pieces that challenge your musicality and expression. You will learn to internalize the theory that makes your favorite songs work. The goal is to build a practice that feels like a natural extension of your daily life.
I hope to provide a space where you feel comfortable asking questions about complex arrangements. See you at the piano.
