About Leah
With over 3 years of experience as a Math tutor and a Master’s degree in Mathematics (MMath), I bring both depth and enthusiasm to every session. My passion goes beyond formulas and equations—I’m deeply fascinated by the history of mathematics and how human curiosity shaped it. From the numerical systems of ancient Mesopotamia to the geometric insights of the Greeks, I explore the roots of mathematical thought with my students. I believe that understanding the evolution of ideas makes mathematics come alive. Together, we dive into the origins of famous theorems and uncover the stories behind major discoveries. How did zero come to be accepted? Why did calculus cause so much controversy? These questions guide our journey.
