About Reya
I’m a Math tutor with over 10 years of experience and a PhD in Mathematics, specializing in applications for environmental science and sustainability. My work bridges the gap between abstract mathematical theory and real-world environmental challenges. I help students understand how math can be used to model ecosystems, track population dynamics, and optimize resource management. Much of my teaching revolves around climate modeling, using differential equations, statistical tools, and simulations to predict environmental outcomes. My teaching approach in Maths is nurturing, playful, and highly personalized. I focus on understanding each student’s unique way of thinking and help them grow from there. I create a safe and supportive space where mistakes are part of learning, and questions are always welcome.
