About Alice
I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, supporting students across Secondary, O-Level, IP, IB, JC/A-Level, and first-year university levels. Over the years, I have worked with learners of varying abilities, helping them strengthen their understanding, improve grades, and gain confidence in tackling challenging mathematical problems.
My teaching approach is systematic and student-focused. I simplify complex concepts into clear, logical steps, ensuring that students build strong foundational understanding before progressing to advanced applications. I also place strong emphasis on exam techniques, helping students develop accuracy, speed, and effective problem-solving strategies.
Throughout my 6 years of experience, I have learned that every student learns differently. As a result, I adapt my lessons to suit individual learning styles, pacing, and academic goals. My Mathematics lessons are carefully structured to help students build clarity, confidence, and strong exam performance across Secondary, O-Level, IP, IB, JC/A-Level, and first-year university levels. Lessons are highly focused on exam techniques, including time management, question interpretation, and common marking pitfalls. This approach helps bridge gaps in understanding while steadily improving accuracy and speed.
I also incorporate regular practice sets and targeted revision plans tailored to each student’s syllabus and learning pace. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to develop disciplined problem-solving habits that lead to consistent academic success.
