About Echo
I started teaching in Northumberland VA after I graduated from the teaching school called Longwood University. When the pandemic hit three years into teaching, I moved to my home away from home, the northeast kingdom of Vermont. I went from teaching 4th grade VA history and mathematics to being a K-8 math interventionist for two years at my new school. I decided to get back into the classroom and started teaching math at the nearby junior high school the last two years while working towards my Masters in Mathematics degree. With a Masters now under my belt, and experience in grades kindergarten through 8th grades, I’m hoping to help more students find a liking in math!

I provide fun, interesting, and creative lessons that will keep you wanting to learn more about math! I’ve been teaching and creating my own lessons for 7, going into 8 years. As a child growing up with a learning disability, I try to reach students of all learning styles and work hard to keep my students interested in the math.
