My Approach as a Teacher
1. Teaching Techniques and Methods
I believe in building strong conceptual foundations before diving into problem-solving. My approach blends:
Concept Simplification – breaking down complex topics into easy, relatable ideas.
Real-life Examples – connecting mathematics to everyday scenarios for better understanding.
Step-by-step Problem Solving – ensuring students know why each step is taken.
Interactive Learning – encouraging questions, discussions, and active participation.
Revision and Recap – ending each topic with quick summaries and key takeaways.
2. Usual Structure of a Class
Warm-up (5 minutes) – quick recap or mental math exercise.
Concept Explanation (20–25 minutes) – clear, detailed teaching of the topic.
Guided Practice (15–20 minutes) – solving examples together.
Independent Practice (15 minutes) – students solve problems on their own while I guide individually.
Doubt Clearing & Recap (5 minutes) – ensuring no confusion before ending.
3. Special Features as a Teacher
From Basics to Advanced – suitable for all skill levels.
Patience & Encouragement – creating a judgment-free learning space.
Visual and Logical Methods – using diagrams, charts, and logical shortcuts.
Performance Tracking – monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching pace.
4. Intended Audience
School Students – Grades 9 & 10 (both CBSE & ICSE/State Board).
Students needing remedial classes to strengthen basics.
Students aiming for competitive exams that require strong mathematical foundations.
