About Yanila
I am a devoted math tutor who is passionate about empowering students.
I have a strong commitment to assisting learners in building a solid foundation in mathematics. With 3 years of tutoring experience, I've developed my abilities to create a welcoming and stimulating learning environment that encourages self-assurance and academic development.
I've always been fascinated by mathematics, and I firmly believe that anyone can achieve academic success in this field with the correct help and supervision. My main objective as a tutor is to help my students find math interesting, relatable, and approachable. I make an effort to develop individualized lesson plans that are based on each student's particular learning style, assets, and areas of improvement.
I have worked with students of all ages and academic levels over the course of my tutoring career. I modify my teaching methods to suit each student's needs, whether it means assisting a struggling student in understanding fundamental ideas or pushing a bright student with sophisticated problem-solving skills. I have extensive knowledge in several different math subjects, including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and more.
My capacity to build close bonds with my students sets me apart from other tutors in the field. I think that building a helpful and reliable relationship is essential for learning to take place. I work hard to establish a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel free to express their mathematical curiosity and make errors.
In addition to teaching math's technical parts, I also place a strong emphasis on problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and practical applications. I urge my pupils to approach problems with confidence, think critically, and cultivate a growth mentality that goes beyond the classroom.
I am committed to my students' development and enjoy seeing them make progress and achieve their goals. To witness them overcome challenges, develop confidence in their mathematics skills, and finally achieve their academic objectives makes me incredibly happy.
