About Jeffery
Do you want to BEGIN your musical journey? Are you stuck in a rut and need some direction? Do you want to learn how to apply music theory to your playing? As a music educator, I approach each student individually. I am a musician with real-world performance experience as a gigging keyboard, bass, and guitar player. I am currently a musician on a church worship team and currently the bass/keys player for a local cover band called At the Well, playing covers from the Beatles to Weezer. I am a passionate music teacher with over 25 years teaching in public schools. I want to know what you want to accomplish in your music quest and I will work WITH you to make that happen.

- Racheal is a great student!! She is receptive to new ideas and approaches. I can tell that she really enjoys learning the bass and learning some of the theory that is tied into our lessons.Jeffery's response :

Jeffery is one of the best music teachers I have ever had. He is able to make a true connection with his students and help them to succeed. He can truly play any instrument and help everyone learn to play better. He adjusts his teaching techniques for each student helping them grasp many difficult concepts of music. Like previously mentioned he is the best and is so dedicated and kind.
Mr Johnson is a VERY WELL LOVED teacher of music of all instruments. My son thrived under Mr. Johnson with his Baritone. Not only did he give him confidence to show up and have fun, but also did wonders for his character development. My son had the time of his life with him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for beginner to expert levels he does it all.
Mr. J was my child's music teacher, and did an outstanding job in all aspects of their education. He was very open and forthright, made the learning process fun, for my kids and me. Outstanding human being, I can't say enough good things about Jeffery, I mean Mr. J!
Jeffery is a wonderful man and an excellent music teacher. He is patient and really works with you to help you learn your instrument. If you are looking for quality music instruction, Jeffery is your guy!
