I am a recent UMBC Applied Mathematics graduate with four years of being a calculus teaching assistant and three years of tutoring, with the highest level of certification achievable at UMBC. I am excited to help students and ignite their interest and passions in math by helping them make sense as they progress through their fundamentals.

I have always had an approach of letting students work on their own and let them make mistakes first, but not providing them with an instant solution as very little true learning happens in these scenarios. Letting students make mistakes, and potentially remedy it on their own, and only intervening if they truly need help is an excellent way to help students become more self-sufficient at learning mathematics.
