About Mia
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience helping students of all abilities discover the joy of music. Holding a **Bachelor of Music in Popular Music (Guitar)**, I combine a strong musical foundation with training in music therapy and special education principles. My approach is adaptive and student-centered, focusing on each learner’s unique strengths rather than their challenges. I have worked extensively with students navigating ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety, creating lessons that are accessible, structured, and stress-free. I introduce exercises that improve coordination, hand strength, and timing, ensuring steady progress without overwhelming them. We also work on stage readiness, from handling performance nerves to presenting themselves with confidence. For those wanting to pursue music seriously, I create pathways toward auditions, recitals, and even professional opportunities. I make sure each lesson is interactive, supportive, and goal-oriented.
