About Isabelle
I was born and raised in France, where I began my teaching career before moving to California over 25 years ago. My personal experience as a foreigner learning English in a new country has shaped the way I teach. I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate unfamiliar sounds, grammar, and cultural expectations—and I use that empathy to support my students with patience, clarity, and encouragement. Language learning isn’t just academic; it’s emotional, social, and deeply personal. Over the years, I’ve taught in France and the U.S., worked in customer service and education, and built a life across those two cultures. I’m known for my professionalism, warmth, and strategic approach.
