About Ivan
I am from St. Petersburg, Russia, where I got Master in Education from Russian State Pedagogical University. My first two TESOL/TEFL certificates were issued in London and Dubai, and third one in Wuhan, China. My English was shaped in Dubai, Philippines, and Malaysia, where I spent seven years in total. For another seven years I have lived in China polishing Mandarin. However, I still remember Russian which is my mother tongue. Yes, Russian may be the weirdest language in the world, but I know how to teach it to speakers of English or Chinese, and to students of Middle East as well.

My approach is based on Communicative method and is similar to offline teaching: during 30-60 minutes we will ask and answer questions, describe pictures, play conversations, discuss cartoons. Between classes, if you have time, you can do homework using textbook that I will send you.
