About Juan César
Graduated in Marketing and Communication, I also have a postgraduate degree in Master's in Education, both from ITESM. My career in chess is ten years in competition; My main achievements being the third place in the 2016 CONADEIP national team championship and runner-up in the 2018 edition, in addition to being awarded the Borrego de Oro 2017 award, awarded to the best athlete of my generation. My maximum FIDE rating has been 1903, while the national one is in 1936. In teaching sports science I have more than six years of experience, working from kindergarten to university and adults. I have had students participating in national Olympics, as well as runner-up teams in their categories. I am so passionate about chess that it was my main topic in my master's thesis, being this: "Chess as a strategy implemented to support learning in Spanish and mathematics subjects, in students from first to third grade."

My teaching style is tailored to the needs of the student, taking into account their cognitive and learning style, using different dynamics that better fit the way they learn. My course is aimed at beginners and mid-level players (1800 or less); so I focus on effort and motivation, making sure that my knowledge is transmitted in the best possible way, encouraging him to raise his level and sharing the wonders of chess with them.

Perfect! Juan Cesar es un profesor que se esfuerza por que sus alumnos aprendan y se apasionen por el ajedrez. Es muy puntual en sus clases y siempre prepara buen contenido. Lleva al alumno por todas las etapas del juego
