About Benedict
Hello and welcome. I am Benedict K Mwololo, and I am excited to be your instructor in this learning journey.
I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our lessons, drawing from a distinguished career as a retired Brigadier General in the Air Force, where I served for several decades. My professional journey has been diverse and fulfilling, ranging from flying and instructing in military aviation to holding significant leadership roles, such as Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Personnel, Evaluation, and Training for the United Nations peacekeeping force in the Central African Republic, and Director of Academic Affairs at the National Defence University in Kenya.
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, complemented by specialized studies in International Politics, Security and Strategic Studies, Military Campaigns, Leadership, and General Management. These qualifications, combined with my practical experience in both military operations and academic leadership, have given me a unique perspective on the complexities of international security, humanitarian military interventions, and strategic decision-making.
As an educator, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students develop a deep understanding of these critical issues. My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive, designed to encourage critical thinking and real-world application. You can expect lessons that are well-structured and engaging, featuring a mix of videos, slides, quizzes, reflection questions, and practical assignments. I believe that learning is most effective when it’s dynamic and hands-on, and I strive to create an environment where you feel challenged, supported, and inspired.
I am proficient in English and ensure that my communication is clear, concise, and accessible to all learners. My goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels comfortable to ask questions, express their thoughts, and engage actively with the material.
I specialize in courses aimed at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, and master’s level students, particularly those studying international relations, public administration, security studies, and related fields. Whether you are just starting your academic journey or looking to deepen your expertise, my lessons are designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in your studies and beyond.
I am committed to professionalism and excellence in everything I do. I am here to guide you, challenge you, and support you every step of the way. Together, we will explore complex topics, discuss diverse perspectives, and develop a thorough understanding of the subject matter. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your learning goals.
Thank you for choosing to learn with me. Let’s get started!
