Hello! I’m Polina, a professional violinist with a Master’s degree in Violin Performance from Ukraine.
With over ten years of experience in orchestral and chamber music, and more than four years teaching students as young as five, I provide engaging, customized online violin lessons tailored to meet each student’s individual needs.

I focus on building a strong foundation in technique, which I believe is essential for developing expressive and confident playing. My approach combines structured exercises with creative learning methods, adapting each lesson to the student’s pace and goals. I emphasize proper posture, bowing technique, and intonation as part of the basics, while gradually introducing musical pieces that challenge and inspire. I also incorporate ear training and sight-reading to round out a student’s skills, helping them grow into versatile musicians.
My lessons are suitable for students of different ages and levels:
- Beginners looking to build a strong technical foundation and a love for the instrument.
- Intermediate players seeking to improve technique, expand their repertoire, and develop greater musicality.
- Enthusiasts interested in learning specific pieces for personal enjoyment, whether it’s a favorite song or classical work.
I am also delighted to help children improve their skills online in a fun, engaging way. However, for younger students or those who want to go beyond just playing for fun, in-person lessons are often more effective for consistent progress and hands-on guidance.
My lessons typically run for 45-60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and focus level. For younger children, shorter lessons (around 30-45 minutes) are more suitable.
