About Henriette
Hi there, I'm Henriette, a recent graduate of a Master's of Creative Writing at the University of Sydney where I wrote a Dissertation that required both critical academic writing and creative writing. I finished with a Band 6 in my HSC Advanced English, English Extension 1, and English Extension 2 with a nomination for the Premier's Award for my Extension 2 final project. I am widely read and enthusiastic about film and literature. I love to translate that enthusiasm to my students and have a laugh when we do it. I believe that you succeed when you find enjoyment in what you are learning and work towards your strengths.

About the lesson

In the one hour that we spend together we will focus on the areas that feel complicated or difficult and simplify them so that they no longer hold you back.
This will be done through in-depth textual analysis, garnering an understanding and a respect for literature and film that will shine through in your written work.
We will also piece apart your essay and creative writing with a fine tooth comb to see how we can elevate your work and give you the tools to do this on your own.
This process will bolster your confidence and your abilities so that you can succeed in your HSC exams with ease.
