About Suren
I am an experienced chess instructor with a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the game. I have extensive experience coaching both online students in the US and offline and online students in India, tailoring my lessons to suit diverse learning styles. Additionally, I had the privilege of serving as an arbiter for chess tournaments as well, which enriched my perspective on the game’s dynamics and strategies. My approach is centered around making complex chess strategies simple and understandable. The Usual Structure of a Class:
A typical class starts with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by the introduction of new concepts, strategies, or openings. We then engage in practice through puzzles or simulated games, which are designed to develop problem-solving skills. Towards the end of the session, I provide feedback and assign tasks for independent practice to reinforce learning.
