About Gopika
Hello! My name is Gopika, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Biotechnology at The University of Queensland in Brisbane.
I have a strong academic background in Biology and Life Sciences, along with an IELTS Band 8 score and previous experience teaching English fluency and IELTS exam preparation. I am passionate about helping students understand concepts clearly and gain confidence in their abilities.
I believe learning should be engaging and supportive rather than stressful. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals through structured guidance and consistent practice.
Whether it is improving Biology grades or preparing for IELTS, I focus on clarity, confidence, and exam-oriented strategies.
I look forward to supporting students in reaching their full potential!

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I first understand the student’s current level, strengths, and areas that need improvement. Based on this, I create a personalised learning plan.
For Biology and Science:
• Clear explanation of core concepts
• Use of diagrams and simple examples
• Practice questions and exam-style preparation
• Focus on understanding rather than memorising
For IELTS and English:
• Speaking practice with real-time feedback
• Writing structure guidance and correction
• Vocabulary and grammar improvement

Lessons can be conducted online or in person. I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions.
My goal is not only to improve marks, but also to build strong conceptual understanding and confidence.
