About Phyllis
Biology is often just memorization until you find the right connections. I confess that I find the elegance of molecular biology truly fascinating for my students. My background as a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School informs my teaching style.
I have spent 3 years guiding pre-med students through the complexities of genetics and inheritance. You will learn to navigate plant biology and evolution and natural selection with ease.
Developing a solid grasp of the scientific method is vital for AP Biology students. I also work with adult learners and GCSE candidates on exam technique. Good luck on your path to medical excellence.

Studying complex biological systems should feel like solving a series of puzzles. I admit that I find the most joy when a student finally understands cell biology.
We bridge the gap between abstract theory and the practical requirements of your exams. My instruction integrates high level science with the specific demands of medical school admissions testing.
Every session focuses on building the logical framework needed for your upcoming biology assessments. I prioritize clear communication to ensure that even the densest topics become intuitive. Let us get to work on your success.
