About Lane
My teaching approach in mathematics is gentle, reflective, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding. I focus on strengthening foundations, which helps students tackle complex theorems with confidence. I enjoy working with DIY learners and researchers, guiding them to discover their own unique approaches to challenging problems. This nurtures independence, creativity, and a sense of ownership in learning. Every student has their own path to understanding, and I support them in finding it. The goal is to inspire new ways of thinking mathematically, blending intuition with rigorous proof. I am a dedicated Maths tutor with over 6 years of experience and a BA in Mathematics.
