About Louis
My name is Louis - I'm an undergrad at Bangor University in Wales and I'm studying marine biology. I am passionate about biology and the natural world and most of my time is spent volunteering outdoors - with organisations like The Rock Pool Project.
In my spare time I am also a freelance graphic designer, I enjoy making artwork featuring native marine life!

My tutoring focuses on identifying knowledge gaps and building confidence through targeted revision. I use past papers, homework, and classwork to find areas where students need support, then explain the underlying concepts to ensure they fully understand the topic.
I believe past-paper questions are one of the best revision tools, as they highlight missing knowledge while helping students develop exam technique and become familiar with mark schemes.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required, particularly before exams. I tailor lessons to GCSE Biology and Combined Science students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen their understanding of the subject.
