About Marek
Experienced Mathematics Tutor and Course Leader with a keen interest in the benefits of problem-based learning as a medium for the acquisition of Mathematical logic. Employs a student-centred approach, using carefully set bespoke exercises, visual aids and strategic questioning, leading to students’ discovery of any given concept.
Exceptional reputation as a tutor, teacher, mentor and coach upheld over the last 10 years in both secondary schools and FE colleges. Numerous references available upon request.
An enthusiastic teacher, heavily promoting the beauty of Mathematics and its practical uses in everyday life and within various vocations, as well as its application to physics and technology. Through employing problem-based learning together with a varied, open and flexible approach, maintains positive, productive relationships with learners of all ages, including those with various learning and behavioural difficulties, as well as gifted and talented students.
