About Maks
My name is Maks, I come from Poland and have lived in the UK since 2004.
I am fluent in Polish and English and can speak German at an advanced level (B2-low C1). I have a passion for learning languages so can speak basic Russian and Chinese.
I have never formally tutored, however I have helped my sister (currently in her 1st year of high school) throughout her educational journey by e.g., helping her complete homework, explaining concepts that she didn't understand in lesson or giving her advice on how to best prepare for her exams.
I would mainly focus on resolving a pupil's difficulties with subject matter but would also be more than happy to help with exam technique and writing style. I would be able to adapt my tutoring style to the learning style of the pupil i.e., if they are a visual learner I would include more visual elements in the lesson.
