About Eden
While it's difficult to choose one aspect of biology that I love the most, I would have to say the beauty of animals and plants has consistently inspired me to want to learn more about them. The possibility of getting to work in educating you and helping you reach your goals within biology is a very exciting opportunity that I do not take lightly. My lessons work best when I am able to hear a little about you and the goals you have. I will then follow up with a lesson plan and draw on my own experience in addition to researching methods on my own time to better assist you and to best fit your learning style and goals.

I maintain an approach to tutoring that prioritizes understanding of the subject while maintaining goals.
I have an understanding that not everyone learns the same way and what works for one student may have to be tweaked for another.
With each lesson, I like to start with the student's confidence level and what their goals are, then I like to move forward based on their priorities and where they are at.
I am very passionate about biology and adore getting to share that passion, however, I have an understanding that while biology may be interesting to me, a student may feel differently and simply have a goal to pass a class, which is why I believe in working with the student to find a way of studying that works best for them and what they'd like to achieve.
While I have extensive experience both in my biological education and in experience in the field, I still have much to learn as there are always new developments so my lessons are for students desiring a fundamental, yet deep understanding of biology in classes/levels BIO I & BIO II.
