About Malhotra
I'm a first-year BSc Geography with Economics student at LSE with A* A* A at A-level and 11 A*s at GCSE. Beyond academics, I'm passionate about green finance and sustainable investing, play football for LSE's 4th XI, enjoy cricket (I even wrote my EPQ on optimal conditions for spin bowling!), and I'm an accomplished pianist with Grade 8 ABRSM. My diverse interests help me connect with students on multiple levels—whether discussing environmental economics, sports strategy, or the discipline required to master an instrument. I bring the same dedication to tutoring that I apply to my studies and hobbies, creating engaging lessons that build both confidence and genuine understanding. I work with GCSE and A-level students to achieve top grades while developing the critical thinking skills needed for university success.

I focus on building genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation, breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks and using real-world examples to make topics relatable. My lessons are typically 60 minutes: we start with a quick review (10 mins), move to new content with interactive explanations (30 mins), practice problems together (15 mins), and end with a summary and homework (5 mins), though I adapt this based on individual needs. Currently studying BSc Geography with Economics at LSE, I achieved A* A* A at A-level (Economics, Geography, Mathematics) and 11 A*s at GCSE, and I've worked as a tutor for 3 years. I teach GCSE and A-level students (ages 14-18) in Mathematics, and Physics and Chemistry to just GCSE students, helping them achieve top grades and develop lasting study skills for university and beyond.
