About Anagha
I am a third-year undergraduate at the London School of Economics, studying on a full academic scholarship. I attended grammar school for my GCSEs and A-Levels, achieving grades 9-7s and A*-As respectively. My passion for teaching has stemmed from my experiences as a voluntary Hindi teacher, where I worked with students of various ages and abilities, as well as through my role as a nanny. These experiences taught me the value of working closely with students and supporting their academic journeys, which I find to be incredibly fruitful. I’ve been fortunate to have had amazing teachers, mentors, and guides throughout my life, and I aspire to be the same inspiring figure for my students, helping them reach their fullest potential while making the learning experience enjoyable and fulfilling.

My tutoring approach is designed to be flexible and adaptable, ensuring that each student’s unique needs are met effectively. Typically, lessons follow a structured format that begins with a review of the relevant theory, which provides a solid foundation for understanding. This is followed by working through examples together to build confidence, and then the student practises solving questions independently, with guidance and support provided as needed. However, this structure is not rigid and can be adjusted based on the student’s level, goals, and learning style to create a more personalised experience. Lessons usually last between 1 to 1.5 hours, striking the right balance between covering topics in depth and maintaining focus. My background includes an A* in Mathematics at A-Level, a Grade 9 at GCSE, and ongoing studies in a mathematics-heavy course at LSE, combined with extensive experience teaching students of various levels and ages. Whether supporting primary school students, preparing for SATs or entrance exams like 11+ and 13+, or helping secondary students with GCSEs and A-Levels, I am committed to providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
