About Lewis
I’m a dedicated Financial Mathematics and Statistics student at LSE with a strong passion for helping others succeed in maths. Having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and 4 A*s at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry), I understand the effort and strategies needed to excel. I’ve helped students build confidence and improve their GCSE Maths skills, which has motivated me to offer tutoring more widely. I believe that with patient guidance and clear explanations, anyone can improve and enjoy maths. I’m approachable, reliable, and professional, and I’m excited to support you in reaching your goals—whether that’s passing or achieving top grades.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether you’re aiming to pass GCSE Maths or to achieve the highest grades. I focus on building strong foundations and boosting exam confidence by breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable steps, using plenty of examples and past paper-style questions. I typically teach 60-minute sessions online, helping students develop understanding and exam technique. I’m currently studying Financial Mathematics and Statistics at LSE, having achieved 4 A*s at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths. My lessons are suitable for all secondary school students who want to improve, gain confidence, or push towards their best possible GCSE grade.
