About Iona
I am a student who studied music production at university, however I’ve taken a year out. I work part time and I’m looking to help young students learn the piano. I have always been musical from a young age, started piano grades and passed my grade 8 about 3 years ago alongside doing A level music. Since then i make a lot of music electronically so this teaching job is also beneficial and important for me to keep my love for playing the piano.

Im Interested in teaching young children, or beginner students of any age. I would keep the lessons light and fun so the learning process doesn’t feel like a chore. It’s important to enjoy playing the piano especially for younger students. I would make sure the lessons stay interactive, for example when teaching the letters of each key on the piano there are fun acronyms which make it easier to remember.
