About Sue Claudia
I am a suitably qualified teacher with 30 years of teaching experience. I have taught students in primary and high school I have also a qualification to teach adult students that did not acquire a school education when they were younger.
I have been a Head of Department for the last 10 Years supervising and mentoring teachers that belong to the department of Sciences.
I have taught Grade 12 or Matriculants for 30 years and have been selected to mark their scripts externally. I have been on numerous professional developments to upgrade and upskill myself academically and professionally.
I am well versed in speaking and teaching in English. I am confident in my abilities as a teacher and i possess a unique quality about caring and sharing what i know to my students.

My teaching style is student centered. My lessons are fun. creative and intentional. Students begin to learn critical thinking and skills are acquired by intentional learning.
I am a native English speaker and i have taught English across the curriculum for most of my teaching experience. I have also had the opportunity to teach students who English is not their mother tongue.
A typical lesson is when I introduce a new concept by first looking at prior and background knowledge that the student possesses. Then proceed I with the skills required to unpack the content.
If students are young and still in elementary school i will use lots of diagrams, pictures etc. to making learning fun and creative. If students are adults then I use simplified drawings, notes, spy diagrams etc.
