About Sijan
Hello, I'm a 22-year-old first-generation immigrant from Nepal, and I'm excited to share my knowledge and expertise with you. As a Buddhist and realist, I believe in the importance of hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude in achieving success.
Growing up in Nepal, I faced many challenges, including language barriers and cultural differences, but I persevered through hard work and determination. My experiences have taught me the value of education and the opportunities it can provide, and I want to share that with my students.
As a tutor, I believe in establishing a positive and supportive learning environment that inspires confidence and promotes growth. I'm passionate about helping my students succeed and providing them with the tools they need to achieve their goals. I'm committed to being professional, dependable, and respectful in all of my interactions with students and their families.

As a tutor, my approach is to provide personalized instruction that is tailored to each individual student's needs. I believe that every student has unique strengths and weaknesses when it comes to learning, and my job is to identify those strengths and weaknesses and develop a teaching methodology that works best for each student.
My teaching methodology involves a combination of visual aids, hands-on examples, and personalized instruction. I start by assessing each student's current knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. Based on this assessment, I create a customized lesson plan that focuses on filling any knowledge gaps and reinforcing concepts that need improvement.
A typical lesson plan starts with a review of previously covered material to ensure that the student has a solid foundation. I then introduce new material using a variety of techniques such as diagrams, visual aids, and real-world examples to make the concepts easier to understand. Throughout the lesson, I encourage active participation and questions from the student to ensure that they fully grasp the material.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with my students and make learning fun. I believe that when students enjoy what they're learning, they are more likely to retain the information and succeed. I take the time to get to know my students and their learning styles, so I can adjust my teaching approach accordingly. I also provide regular feedback and progress reports to both the student and their parents/guardians.
My lessons are designed for students from middle school to high school who are struggling with maths and IT. Whether you need help with algebra, geometry, calculus, or programming languages like Java, Python or SQL, I can help. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a passion for maths and IT.
