About Aloysius
As an aspiring tutor, I came from humble beginnings, tutoring my neighbours and fellow Primary school students. I have personally witnessed many of my students improve tremendously. One of the students that I have taught improved from a D to an A in just the short span of 2 months. Now, I am looking to further this passion for teaching here. I am here to assure you that I will do my very best to ensure that your child succeeds in the area of Math.

I take a different approach when it comes to teaching younger children. I believe in an "Educating till Eureka" style. I would expose the student to more questions and let them understand why are things the way they are. Only through that, do I truly believe that the students would have that "click" in their head and that "click" would allow them to understand everything else further down the line. A typical length of lesson would be around 1 hour. My lessons are for Primary 1 and 2 Students who are struggling to cope in Maths.

I knew Aloysius when he was tutoring me Maths and Economics in school. He was my senior and he had extended his help to me. I was quite unsure at first whether his teaching style would fit me, but over time I realized that he attempted to teach me generously. He was very nice and understanding. Finally, he does not teach "memorizing", he teaches "understanding", which is really important in subjects like Economics. I really would recommend Aloysius as your tutor in the future.
I met Aloysius in school when I needed help with him teaching me Economics. Initially, he was only supposed to guide me on Economics, but he slowly expanded into teaching me Maths and also English. His teaching style is quite unique as he is very patient with us and explains the concepts to us in a way that is very memorable and easy to grasp. He would also share jokes with us very frequently and lighten the mood. I believe he is a great tutor and can be very good in the future.
