About Gloria
Since playing piano at the start of 3, I have experienced a lot in competitions, exams, masterclasses, festivals, and recitals. Some teachers that have taught me and that you may know are Dang Thai Son, Ilya Itin, Joanna Sochacka, James Anagnoson, Sofia Gulyak, and so much more. I hope my previous experience can help others to play pieces to the level of their hearts content. I haven't played much in the past 2 years but have helped directed two international piano festivals in Poland and Miami and is the program director of the BAMA International Piano Festival. I have also helped hosted the 2024, 2025 AEGIO International piano competition and the 2025 International Young Pianist competition. I am currently pursuing a music degree concurrently with science. With my experience on many different pianos, with many different teachers, and the different scenarios I have been in, I have confidence in helping anyone at any level. Do understand that I will not help other professionals as I left extreme competitions and performances two years ago. However, otherwise, I will do my best to help, teach, learn, and provide a comfortable and fun experience for the tutee.

My teaching methodology comes from different practice techniques I've learnt from many teachers in my past profession in masterclasses and private classes. I'm very open and flexible so I want to provide a comfortable experience and is not too strict. However, I will still provide all the details and necessary knowledge for you to succeed and achieve your desired level. I take each tutee's difference into consideration and therefore will look through past notes before each class with each person. Even on the first class, I do want to take some time into fully understanding your needs and what you expect from me as a teacher. I would be happy to help anyone to achieve their goals in music as it has been a big part of my life and I believe my passion and experience in music can assist you as well.

Gloria is very hardworking, she is passionate about what she does and no matter the obstacles in her way, she get to the end goal. So in my opinion if anybody chooses Gloria as their mentor and teacher, they can learn alot from her and be rest assured that they will succeed if they have her help and support!
I met Gloria when my sister had her as a tutor during her highschool math. She was very happy with Gloria and having her as a tutor made a positive impact on her grades. I have Gloria currently as my math tutor and I think she has an amazing teaching style, she is patient, and explains things very clearly. She uses an effective app during the tutoring sessions to take notes and provide math questions for me to use. She also sends all these notes to me, which makes it easy to review for my math assessments coming up.
Gloria Wang takes the time to explain everything in detail with patience. She goes above and beyond when explaining mathematical concepts. She has a very warm personality and is a genuinely nice person.
Gloria has always been the most academically inclined person I know. She loves to learn, and loves teaching what she knows even more. I would 100% recommend her to anyone struggling with a subject!
I have had Gloria as my math tutor for about 2 years now. She is an excellent teacher . My math mark went from a low 70s in grade 9 to a low 90s in grade 11 in the course of 2 years. I really love how her lessons are always well aimed towards exactly what I don't understand so that neither of our time are wasted. Therefore, I would 100% recommend Gloria to any one who needs help with math!!! :)
She explains the problems in a simple way to understand and she was always available when I needed her and she taught in a pace that I could understand easily and she answered my question no matter how many times I asked her.I always had a great time with her as a friend and a teacher:)
