About Harry
I’m a qualified Spanish teacher with two years of classroom experience in an inner-city London secondary school. I’ve taught both Edexcel and AQA GCSE specifications, and also worked abroad as a British Council language assistant in Bogotá and a teacher in Barcelona. I hold a degree from a Russell Group university, and I bring both academic rigour and real-world cultural insight to my sessions.

Whether you're preparing for GCSEs or learning Spanish for travel, I focus on building confidence through structured, supportive, and engaging sessions. My teaching style combines clear explanation, targeted practice, and active use of the language — especially speaking and listening. I prioritise adaptive teaching, meaning I quickly identify gaps in understanding and tailor the lesson to help fill them through relevant, accessible activities. Grammar is taught in context, and vocabulary is reinforced through meaningful conversation and repetition. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, though I can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the learner's needs.
