About Jody
With more than 20 years of experience in shooting portraits, events, and even red carpet events in Hollywood, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as a professional photographer teacher. One of the key lessons I have learned throughout my career is the importance of knowing your gear and being able to adapt to any situation. This skill has become second nature to me and I am excited to pass on this knowledge to aspiring photographers.
Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of photography or an advanced student trying to grasp the intricacies of studio lighting, I am here to guide you every step of the way. My teaching methodology focuses on hands-on learning and practical applications, ensuring that you not only understand the theory but also know how to apply it in real-life situations.
Another aspect I emphasize in my teaching is finding the best camera that suits your needs without having to pay the highest price. I strongly believe that the right equipment is crucial for capturing stunning photographs, but it doesn't necessarily mean breaking the bank. I will teach you how to evaluate different camera options, considering factors such as performance, features, and budget.
Lastly, I firmly believe that photography is an ever-evolving field, and one should never stop learning. Technology is constantly advancing, and new techniques and trends are emerging regularly.
