About Justin
I am a classically trained pianist who is passionate about teaching others about music. I have experience as a classical ballet dancer, dance accompanist and teacher, collaborative pianist, and performer. I received my bachelors degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and I am working on building my studio of students as well as an audience in Grand Rapids Michigan.

My lessons are always upbeat and engaging. Although I generally use the same materials for all of my students, I am always sensitive to the learning and communication styles of each individual student. My method is repertoire based and I encourage every student to be as well rounded of a musician as they can be. In our lessons I teach music theory, sight reading, technique, as well as repertoire from as many different eras and styles as I can. With me you will play everything from classical and baroque pieces to jazz and contemporary songs.
