Hello, I’m Hailey Dantanarayana, a second-year Law student at Keele University with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed. My Approach to Tutoring I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the learner’s pace, confidence, and learning style. My goal is to build understanding through clear explanations, active recall, and guided practice. I often use real-life examples and visual aids—especially when helping with essay writing, legal reasoning, or critical thinking—to make abstract ideas easier to understand. Techniques and Methodology: I break down complex topics into smaller, manageable parts. I use questioning to check understanding and develop analytical thinking. I create short tasks, essay plans, or mini quizzes to reinforce learning. I review previous lessons to help students retain knowledge and track progress. I adapt my methods to suit each student—whether they prefer visual materials, discussion, or written notes. Lesson Length: Lessons typically last 60 minutes, giving time for explanation, examples, practice, and feedback. I’m flexible with timing and adjust sessions to suit the student’s age, goals, and concentration span. Qualifications and Experience: I’m currently a second-year Law student at Keele University with experience tutoring in both academic subjects and general study skills. Who the Lessons Are For: I tutor secondary school and university students, particularly those studying Law, English, or essay-based subjects. I can also help with study skills, revision techniques, and writing support, especially for those preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, or early university modules.
