About Almira
Hi I’m Almira, a passionate English tutor with a strong background in language and communication. Originally from the Philippines, I’ve been living in Ireland for 12 years and hold a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education majoring in English. With over six years of experience as a manager in two major social media companies supporting global markets - and three years in customer support for top gaming companies - I’ve developed excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of the English language in professional and everyday settings. Throughout my career, I’ve also been tutoring English part-time, helping students improve their language skills in a way that’s engaging and tailored to their needs. Beyond teaching, I love gaming, cooking, listening to music and traveling. I have explored many countries across Europe and several cities in the U.S., which has given me a global perspective that I bring into my lessons.
