About Isaac
With over 12 years of experience, I am a dedicated Drum Tutor focused on teaching college students. I help learners improve rhythm control, technique, and confidence through clear and enjoyable lessons. My teaching style is flexible and goal-oriented. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s needs while maintaining a strong focus on fundamentals like timing, coordination, and groove.
I use innovative learning techniques such as rhythm mapping, tempo control training, and practical song-based learning. These methods help students understand rhythms easily. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation and pattern development. I also help students think critically about rhythm choices and musical structure. As a mentor, I believe learning drums builds discipline and self-confidence. I track progress, give constructive feedback, and support students throughout their learning journey.

My teaching methodology for drums balances creativity, musical understanding, and responsibility. I aim to help students become confident and independent drummers.

Creativity is encouraged through beat creation, rhythm challenges, and improvisation. I use practical exercises and play-along sessions to make learning enjoyable.
As a mentor, I support students with clear guidance and motivation. Accountability is maintained through structured practice plans and regular feedback.
Along with drum lessons, I also teach supporting subjects like basic music theory, rhythm counting, tempo control, and practice planning. This helps students grow as complete musicians.
