About Sasha
Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile!
Here's a lil bit about me:
I was born and raised in New York, starting in community theatre from the age of seven. While growing up, I was in my school musicals, performed at Regional Theaters on Long Island, as well as worked in a few films. I moved to Liverpool when I was accepted into Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts and since then, have been in Liverpool working as an actor and playwright. I have experienced many facets of theatre from classics like Ibsen, Chekhov, and Shakespeare to contemporary work. I have also dabbled in Physical Theatre and have worked with Gecko Theatre Company. On top of that, I am finishing my masters in playwriting from University of Manchester.
I also have worked on Film/TV in the past and if theatre is not the area of acting you are looking to go into, I am more than happy to guide you through the world of Film/TV acting! My most recent film just came out, called "One Moment", starring Danny Aiello.
Throughout all these years of training and work, I have had some of the best mentors and teachers and hope one day I can do that for other aspiring artists!

Whether you're just getting started, prepping for drama school auditions, or just need a little refresher, I'm your gal! With over thirteen years of theatre experience between two countries, I can advise you on monologue selections, coach you through an audition process, and/or help strengthen your confidence when on stage! My own acting background is influenced a lot by Meisner, Hagen, and Chekhov. However, I will work with you on an individual basis to see what practitioners and techniques work for YOU. Acting can be so vulnerable and I'm here to create a safe space for you to explore, play, and have fun. I try not to take things too seriously and want to make theatre accessible to anyone who wants to give it a go.
